The New Testament defines Jesus as the One who knows the
needs of people. Whether it's the woman at the well in Samaria, the widow of
Nain or the sightless man of Jericho, Jesus was concerned about the burdens of
others.
When we dare to bring our burdens to Jesus we are never
intruders because we have a standing invitation to do so; it is recorded in I
Peter 5:7 "Casting all your cares upon Him for He cares for you."
What an invitation, what a comfort to know that in these
few words you, your cares and Jesus are all linked together. You are a person
of great value, not just a number, in the heart of Jesus Christ. He desires to
have an intimate relationship with you to nurture you and carry your
burdens.
Are you tired, cast down, weary? Let me introduce you to
Jesus, the burden-bearer. Come and let Him care for you.
